Description: Compressia is an archive utility based on a new compression technology that comprises multiple innovative techniques which are tightly integrated to produce superb compression results. Compressia also supports a GUI, full archiving features and a self-extract module.
The following table illustrates Compressia's performance. It is a comparison of 4 sets of files frequently used to compare compression utilities. The Canterbury Corpus and the Calgary Corpus are standard tests. The text and exe tests are used by a site which compares numerous compression utilities. Compressia is compared here with WInZip, which was set to maximum compression.
